Save the date for SPJ Oregon’s annual conference

The Society of Professional Journalists Oregon Pro Chapter is excited to announce the 2025 Build a Better Journalist Conference. In partnership with the Portland chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association, the Pacific Northwest Association of Journalism Educators and the University of Oregon, SPJ Oregon will provide journalists of all experience levels with the training and workshops they need to better cover our region. Initial event details are below:

What: The 2025 Build a Better Journalist Conference 

Where: Allen Hall on the University of Oregon’s Eugene Campus (1020 University Street) 

When: Oct. 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
